The Zoo

So, we finally went to the zoo here. It was fun especially with Keira. The exhibits were kinda sad (mostly small with too many animals or the animals weren't very well cared for), but we saw some animals I've never seen in a zoo before. Their elephant exhibit looked like it was new so maybe they're getting ready to remodel. All the exhibits were pretty close too. On the big cat cages they had signs saying not to get to close because the cats could spray us. Gross. Keira's favorite part was riding the horse.

Keira and dad feeding the carp, turtles, and black swans. The carp were HUGE. We were at a pet store and saw a "baby" carp for about $100. I can't imagine how much these monsters would be.

This was the petting zoo...there were rabbits, chicks, iguanas, goats, and sugar gliders. Keira liked making the same sound as the goats.

Keira's first time riding a horse. They have mini-riding lessons too. She loved this (I think it was her favorite part). She was a natural...all those horsey rides with dad probably helped.

Figures your kid would pick an expensive hobby!! Have fun with that. You need to call me by the way and I'm sure you know why.
