Health Kick

Keira wants to stay 4 forever. She means it. 6-1, 5, and 4+1 are boring. Somehow she figures that only eating healthy food will keep her little (as in 4-years-old). She thinks junk food, anything with sugar will make her bigger. At first this concerned me, but after a few questions found that she's not thinking about fat...just getting older. She'll be 30 and still telling everyone that she is 4. Here are a few examples of how serious she is:

Example 1:
We like Yogurtland. Keira likes it because frozen yogurt is healthy and she can put as many toppings as she wants. She used to put all sorts of candy and cookies on top. Last time we went she only put fruit on.

Example 2:
She was at a friend's house. The mom made some delicious cookies and gave us a plate of nice, "right out the oven" chocolate chip cookies. I offered Keira one...she refused.

Example 3:
I made a healthy hamburger soup. I assured her that it was very healthy, but she didn't want to eat it. So, I told her that if she didn't eat it, I would give her a plate of cookies for dinner. She then proceeded to eat all the hamburger soup.

Everyday I am asked the question, "Is it healthy?" I wish I had half her will power.
