Naoki's Intro

This is my dog. She's about 9 months now and weighs about 50 lbs (but I think she's just getting a little fat). She is hands down the best dog I've ever had. When we go for walks, she doesn't pull on the leash (any more thanks to the Gentle Leader), she's pretty good with basic obediance commands, she sits still (mostly) while I clip her nails, and Keira can give her hugs (strangulations) and pull on her tail and Naoki licks her face for it. Keira can take her bones away from her (although we don't let her without supervision), feed her, and pretty soon probably walk her. The only problem I have with her right now is that she gets too excited when new people come around. She wants them to notice her, pet her, and she'll do whatever it takes for them to come to her (or her go to them). But we're working on that. I had to do this little post about her because I'm so bugged with all the negative articles I've seen lately...mostly with people that think that every American Pit Bull Terrier or AmStaff or anything that remotely looks like a "pit bull" should be put down. Anyway, that's my two cents and Naoki's intro to this blog.

Amen Sista! If you don't want to get all preachy about it, then I will in my blog because there are some naive stupids out there. And a lot of them. She realy is a good dog. (that "realy" is an inside joke for all you other folks reading this.)

She is very cute I must say, don't worry Tricia, we love her!!! :) (I will let Sarah know about that supplement) We want to get a dog for Robbie but we need a fence and yard first. Did you have to train her to be gentle with Keira? That's the only part I'm nervous about! Love ya!

Yay for pits. I love pits and have actually seen more aggresive labs than I have pits. Actually I've never seen a mean pit and have been attacked by a yellow lab, a golden retriever (who was so aggresive the owners had to put him down b/c he attacked their 2 year old.) and a beagle mix. So again yay for pits.
