I had a non-stress test on Friday that lasted for 2 hours. Usually, it's only 20 minutes, but I was having quite a few contractions. 4 or 5 would come every 2 minutes, then a few would go every 5 minutes. I think I had a total of 25 contractions. I asked what I should do and the doctor told me to pack my bags, so I guess I've been given the "go ahead". I'm torn...first week or second week of November would be nice, but I so want to be able to breathe and sleep (ha ha) again. I've probably jinxed myself now that I've posted this. The waiting period is not fun.
P.S. - Anyone else have a hard time recognizing when you're having contractions? I always realize after a few and then I think every big move of the baby is a contraction. I'm hoping my water will just break again b/c I'm thinking by the time I realize I'm in real labor, I'll have the baby in the car.

I understand how you feel! I have 6 weeks left but I'm measuring 2 weeks ahead. In some ways I'm hoping she'll be early, but other times I think I need more time! I guess she'll arrive when she's ready!
p.s. Is she still breech?
Ok I was so hoping for my water to break with Daxton like it had with Robbie because I had the same worry you did of not knowing you're in labor until you're ready to have the baby. Well, my water didn't break, I went into labor not really knowing it was the real thing and by the time I got to the hospital I was 100% effaced and at an 8!!! My advice... if you feel like you need to go #2 but you can't and the pressure just gets worse, I'd go to the hospital. It's better to know for sure and be sent home than be scared to death and yelling at your husband "I DON'T WANT TO HAVE A BABY IN THE CAR!!!" :) Hope this helps. Robbie was 10 days early. I was realy hoping Daxton would be earlier than he was but it didn't happen that way. Waiting sucks! I miss talking to you about our pregnancies. We will have a lot to catch up on. :) Robbis is going as Belle and Daxton is going as a frog, the same frog Robbie was at 9 months and he is only 5! What will Keira be? Alan and I are Harry Potter and Hermoine.
