Bored.

So, I haven't been in the mood to blog for a while. I know...I haven't even been doing this for long. I've just felt...well, bored lately. Anyway, I thought I'd at least get a few pictures up until I can get myself out of this funk.

This is my new shishi dog. They have these on almost every building here. They always come in pairs and are usually at the entrances or roofs of houses (and any other building really). One has it's mouth closed and the other with it's mouth open. I forget exactly what they are supposed to do...something about leaving worries/anger outside and having peace inside. Mine are not on the outside...they sit on my dvd shelves.

This is what I get to look forward to next week (sexy isn't he?). This outfit means 12 hour shifts for Eric (plus being on call) and road blocks for me and being in nursery by myself. I'm sure I'll survive somehow.

This is a geiko that snuck in to Keira's room. It's the biggest one that I've seen and they are MEAN!! They make weird sounds...I think they sound like a mongoose (that one's for you Eric).

Say hi to Keira's new rain boots. She would not get out of these. Usually she's naked except for these boots, but I persuaded her to put clothes on so I could take a picture. It was raining for about a month straight here...now that I bought the boots it hasn't rained a bit. Murphey's Law.

And finally, a little bit of beautiful Okinawa. These pictures are from the north part of the island.

Awesome pictures. I have a question though I can't figure out how to add friends onto my blog site. How do you do that?

Great Pix!
So, the gecko's are meaner in Japan? Interesting. Elle got bit by one last summer, so we don't let the kids play with them anymore (when we can help it). Hand in there while your hubbie's on call.
