This is something I plan on starting. I think it looks pretty cool and would be handy on the days I want to be out and about instead of worrying about going home to make lunch or going to fast food. I'm trying to get my family to eat healthier...although I'm really lucky that Keira isn't a picky eater (as long as the texture doesn't gross her out. She gets that from her mom.). Another really cool thing is that it will be a real Japanese souvenir for me. I like to get "useful" souvenirs or one's that have a special meaning. The boxes are everywhere here and they get pretty creative in their designs. I have a site listed under my "Favorite Things" if you want to see more of what I'm talking about.

Um, I am OBSESSED with bentos and bento boxes. I collect them. I only have a few, but I also love the laptop lunchbox as well. I love the Engrish ones that say things that don't make any sense at all. I check for them on ebay and there's a few sites that seem to have a good collection. You are so lucky to live there right now. I would be all over that. And they are hard to get on ebay. You could make some good moula that way since everyone bids high. Anyway, they are so cute and I love all the food ideas.
Those look real neat and seem like a great idea! That's lucky that Keira isn't picky, I could list on one and a half hands probably the things Robbie will eat! It's hard for me because I am the exact opposite and love to try knew things daily so dinner is always interesting. I hope she grows out of it cause I guess I was a way picky eater when I was little. Anyway, I'm glad to hear more from you!!
