From the Mouths of Babes

We were saying our night time family prayers and it was Keira's turn...like it always is because she repeats everything we say. Anyway, she decided to do it all by herself (for the most part) and this is how it went:

"Dear Heavenly Father. Thank you for this day. Thank you for time spent together as a family. Thank you for nursery. Bless us to have a good night sleep. Bless me to have three more hours (to play before going to sleep). Amen"

It's a nightly ritual for her to try to bargain us for more time to stay up. It used to be "three more minutes, please?", but some how she learned that hours were longer and it became "three more hours". This was the first time she tried it in a prayer. I think she decided since it wasn't working with us, she'd try upper management.

Carly always tries throwing stuff like that in her prayers too, except I don't always catch it when she says them in Spanish.
