We finally got Keira into some swimming lessons...last session of the summer. We decided that she might take instruction a little better from someone other than her parents...although I think we've done a pretty good job so far (if I do say so myself). She could already swim pretty far, lift her head out of the water and then continue to swim, use a kick board and do pretty good scissor kicks. She could float on her back and front, as well as go down (4ft) to get rings off the bottom. Eric taught her cannon balls and she can dive some of the time despite our efforts of saying "FEET FIRST!!" We were working on "big arms" when we signed her up. She has 10 classes and when I originally signed her up they said that she would be in a stroke development class, but when we got there the teacher said that all three and under had to be in the Pre-3 class. When I told the teacher what Keira could already do, she either didn't believe me or was impressed...I couldn't tell by her tone when she said, "Aaand she's three???" We were pretty worried that she would be held back, but luckily the other girl in her class is at a similar level and "Miss Minnow" said that she would actually be teaching them at a level 2. We're just worried about next year b/c her teacher said that although she's teaching at a level 2 (and will be putting everything that Keira learns into a file), Keira will automatically be put into the level 1 class (the levels are Baby and Mom, Pre 3, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, etc). We won't be able to put her in any of the other levels until she's 5. Weird, huh. Oh well. I'll post some videos when we get them off our camera.
Other than that, we're doing good. Eric has finished all his required classes for the physician's assistant program and has a nice 3.8 GPA to show for all his hard work. Now we just have to get his packet/application all put together by December. Keira got her "big girl bed". It's a white bunk bed and she loves it. The summer has flown by. This pregnancy so far as been better than the last one (no kidney infections yet!). I'm still not very patient with pregnancy...don't really enjoy it, but am really excited for the outcome:). We've picked a name, but we're not telling. Keira starts preschool in 4 weeks and I'm wondering if I'll get more done during that time or just catch up on sleep. That's it for now!

Tricia! You are such a tease with the name! :)
She really is a good swimmer and she owes it all to me. After all, what good is swimming if you can't do a cannonball. Tricia you are a great swimming teacher and if you ever could teach me the proper way to do a kick-turn I would dare say you are the best teacher to ever live. Post some pictures. Geez
Yeah post pictures geez! :) I want to swim as good has Keira. I think it's amazing watching little tikes do all that swimming stuff. She's going to make it to the olympics for sure!! We are hoping to be able to put Robbie in dance next fall, I would also like to put her in swim lessons. I wish I were rich!!! We miss you and hope you are feeling great!!!!!
